Miami University awarded degrees to students during spring commencement exercises Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Millett Hall.

Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its spring 2019 Dean's List. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.

RIT conferred some 4,200 degrees this academic year at all its campuses-including in Croatia, Dubai, Kosovo and China. The university held its 134th annual commencement celebration in May.

Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Miami University students who are ranked in the top twenty percent of undergraduate students within each division for second semester 2018-19 have been named to the dean's list recognizing academic excellence.

Miami University students who are ranked in the top three percent of undergraduate students within each division for second semester 2018-19 have been named to the president's list recognizing academic excellence.

A total of 11,406 students enrolled during the 2019 spring term at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or to undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

Four hundred and fifty-nine graduates were conferred the degree of Bachelor of Arts from Carleton College on Saturday, June 15, 2019, the culmination of four years of study in the liberal arts.

The Iowa State University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Dean's List honors students who have earned a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

The Iowa State University College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Dean's List honors students who were enrolled in at least 12 credit hours and earned a 3.5 grade point average or higher for the term.

Members of the Class of 2019 received their diplomas May 19 at Colgate University's 198th Commencement. Colgate Alumnus Antonio Delgado, U.S. Representative for the 19th Congressional District of New York, delivered the keynote address.

More than 4,800 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students at the University of Iowa recently participated in graduation ceremonies. The UI's spring 2019 graduates had an average cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 3.16 on a 4.0 scale. In addition, 16 percent of the graduating class graduated with multiple majors and 355 undergraduates graduated with honors. Some 3,275 students were awarded degrees during the University of Vermont's 218th commencement ceremonies. Darren Walker who presides over the Ford Foundation, one of the world's most influential social justice philanthropies and one of the largest private foundations in the United States, delivered the address.

The following area students have earned Semester Honors for the Spring 2019 semester at Edgewood College. Fulltime students who achieve a 3.5 grade point average for the semester are eligible for this honor.

Bucknell University has released the dean's list for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2018-19 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean's list recognition.
